KY 94/Main Street to close for Murray Veteran's Day Parade This Afternoon
Closure to start at 4 p.m., for about one hour
PADUCAH, Ky. (Nov 11, 2021) – The annual Murray Veteran's Day Parade is scheduled along KY 94/Main Street in Downtown Murray starting at 4 p.m., CST, today.
KY 94/Main Street will be closed between Poplar Street and 10th Street for approximately one hour starting at 4 p.m.
The parade will form near the Methodist Church at 5th Street and Poplar. The parade will move north on 5th Street, then follow KY 94/Main Street west to North 10th Street. The parade will then follow North 10th Street to the Veteran's Memorial in Central Park.
KY 94/Main Street is expected to be closed for about an hour to facilitate movement of the parade along the route.
Motorists should be alert for police providing traffic control in the area.
