Whitehaven Welcome Center Christmas Open House December 11

PADUCAH, Ky. (Dec. 7, 2021) – Historical Whitehaven Welcome Center is holding A Christmas Open House from 1 to 5 p.m., CST, on Saturday, December 11, 2021.
Local garden clubs have graciously "decked the halls" of Whitehaven with decorations appropriate to the historic home.
Whitehaven has been undergoing renovation work to the exterior of the building for several months. Due to paint being removed from the exterior, much of the original brick on the main structure is visible for the first time since this landmark was painted white in 1903.
In addition to viewing Whitehaven decorated for the holidays, the Christmas open house provides an opportunity get a close-up view of the ongoing renovations.
The Christmas open house will include lots of fun activities:
- Blewett Music Studio will provide Christmas music on stringed instruments from 1 to 3 p.m.
- "Santa" Fred Feiler will welcome each child and get their Christmas wishes from 3 to 5 p.m.
- Michael Vessels will play his stringed psaltery from 3 to 5 p.m.
- The Paducah Ambassadors will be on hand
- Light refreshments will be provided by local businesses.
Masks will be required for anyone entering the building.
