Temporary lane closures on KY 1747 (Fern Valley Road/Hurstbourne Parkway) in Jefferson County beginning tonight
Lanes closed for traffic loop installation
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Nov. 3, 2021) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of lane closures taking place on KY 1747 (Fern Valley Road/Hurstbourne Parkway) in Jefferson County beginning tonight. At signalized intersections there may be temporary lane closures between mile point 4.25 on Fern Valley Road near the railroad crossing and mile point 7.49 on Hurstbourne Parkway at U.S. 31E (Bardstown Road) for traffic loop installations.
The initial closure will occur from 7 p.m. today to 6 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 4. Work will continue during the same times daily through Nov. 12 or until the work is completed. This includes the possibility of lane closures on Saturday, Nov. 6, and Sunday, Nov. 7. Signs in the area will notify motorists of the closures. Drivers should heed signage and use caution while traveling through the work zone.
