Milling and Paving along U.S. 60 in Northern Crittenden County starting Saturday, Oct 30
Work to take about 2 weeks to complete
PADUCAH, Ky. (Oct. 27, 2021) – A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans milling and asphalt paving along a section of U.S. 60 in the Rosebud Hill area of northern Crittenden County starting Saturday, October 30, 2021.
This work zone runs along U.S. 60 from the KY 365 intersection at mile point 17.254 extending northeastward to the 23 mile marker at the Tradewater River Bridge and the Crittenden-Union County Line, a distance of 5.75 miles.
Milling is expected to start on Saturday, October 30, with asphalt paving to follow starting on Monday, November 1.
Motorists should be alert for one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers. Some delays are possible during the movement and placement of equipment to facilitate the work.
Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and paving personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
Weather permitting, the target completion date is November 19, 2021.
