KY 310/Turner Landing Rd and Bradford Road in Ballard County Closed on Tuesday, Oct 26
Intersection closure for joint state/county drainage project
PADUCAH, Ky. (Oct. 21, 2021) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) and Ballard County Road Department plan to close the intersection of KY 310/Turning Landing Road and Bradford Road east of LaCenter in Ballard County on Tuesday, October 26, 2021.
This closure of KY 310/Turner Landing Road and Bradford Road is to allow work on the intersection and replacement of a cross drain. This intersection closure is along KY 310/Turner Landing Road at mile point 0.2, just north of the U.S. 60 intersection. It is at the south end of Bradford Road.
The drainage work will require this intersection to be closed starting around 7:30 a.m., CDT, on Tuesday, immediately after the morning school bus run. KY 310/Turner Landing Road and Bradford Road are expected to reopen around 2 p.m., CDT, on Tuesday. This work is weather-dependent.
There will be no marked detour. However, KY 310 traffic may self-detour via KY 358 and U.S. 60. Bradford Road traffic may self-detour via West Clarkline Road and Jones Road.
This drainage and intersection improvement project is a joint-effort by the KYTC Ballard County Highway Maintenance Crew and the Ballard County Road Department.
Approximately 300 vehicles travel KY 310/Turner Landing Road near the Bradford Road intersection in an average day.
