Barnesburg Road and Valley Oak Road in Pulaski County to be Temporarily Closed
Closure is part of KY 461 improvement project
SOMERSET, Ky. (Oct. 11, 2021) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that a portion of Barnesburg Road and Valley Oak Road in Pulaski County will be temporarily closed to through traffic beginning Wednesday, Oct. 13.
The closure is part of the KY 461 improvement project.
Barnesburg Road will be closed at the intersection of KY 461 (mile point 0.54) on Wednesday, Oct. 13, through Thursday, Oct. 14. Motorist will detour via KY 80.
Valley Oak Road will be closed to through traffic at the intersection of Coin Road beginning Wednesday, Oct. 13, and will reopen once work has been completed. During this closure traffic will detour via north Valley Oak Road and Coin Road.
The dates and duration of work may be adjusted for inclement weather or other unforeseeable delays.
