Paving Planned along Sections of KY 1022 and 1377 in Carlisle County starting Monday, Oct 4
Work to take about a week to complete
PADUCAH, Ky. (Oct 1, 2021) – A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans asphalt paving along section of KY 1033 and KY 1377 in Carlisle County starting Monday, October 4, 2021.
Motorists should be prepared to encounter paving operations at the following locations:
KY 1022
From mile point 0.0 at the KY 1203 intersection extending northward to mile point 3.355 at the Ida Ireland Road intersection
KY 1377
From mile point 2.743 at the KY 1173 intersection extending eastward to mile point 3.780 at Carlisle County Elementary School, a distance of 1.3 mile
Motorists should be alert for one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers. Some delays are possible during the movement and placement of equipment to facilitate the work.
Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and paving personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
Jim Smith Contracting of Grand Rivers is the prime contractor. Weather permitting, the work is expected to take three to five days to complete.
