Lane closures scheduled for
Nicholasville Road/US 27 in Fayette County
Thermoplastic marking operations include retracing stop bars, crosswalks and arrows
LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 30, 2021) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled thermoplastic marking operations. Mobile lane closures and short term stoppages will be necessary for markings to be installed, and retraced. The markings improve reflectivity, and visibility.
Sunday, August 1 through Thursday evening, August 5/Friday morning, August 6 – 7 p.m. each evening until 5 a.m. the following morning
Nicholasville Road/US 27
Mobile lane closures with short term stoppages will be in effect between:
- Nicholasville Road/US 27 at Man O War Boulevard (milepoint 0.945) and Nicholasville Road/US 27 at Canary Road (milepoint 2.142)
- motorists will be able to pass through the work zone
All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies, and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott, and Woodford Counties
