Lane closures in effect for the bridge on Frogtown Road/KY 608 in Scott County
One lane is open between milepoints 3.3 and 3.4
LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 23, 2021) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that earlier today there was a commercial truck incident on Interstate 75 that impacted the Frogtown Road/KY 608 overpass. A portion of the bridge was struck. The bridge has been inspected and evaluated by District 7 Engineers.
One lane of traffic for the overpass will be maintained until the bridge can be repaired. The bridge is located over Northbound Interstate 75. The District 7 Maintenance staff will be monitoring the area.
Friday, July 23 – currently and until further notice
Frogtown Road/KY 32
- one lane on the bridge over Northbound Interstate 75 is open to traffic between milepoints 3.3 and 3.4
- a temporary stop light for the accessible lane on the overpass is in place to assist motorists
- the lanes for Northbound Interstate 75 are now open
All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies, and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott, and Woodford Counties
