Closures scheduled for KY 577 in Owsley County
Road will be blocked for break repairs
JACKSON, Ky. – Drivers who use KY 577 in Owsley County will need to find an alternate route during daytime hours beginning Friday, July 9. The road will be closed several days to repair a pavement break. The project location is at milepoint 0.83, between the Clay County line and KY 11.
The road will be closed from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Friday, July 9, and again Monday through Wednesday, July 12-14. It will remain open over the weekend and during non-working hours in the evenings.
No marked detour will be posted. Drivers can use KY 1350, KY 846, and KY 11 through Island City as an alternate route.
