Maintenance Work on I-64 in Jefferson & Shelby County June 29 - July 2

Lane closures possible due to pothole patching

LOUISVILLE, KY (June 28, 2021) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of  maintenance work scheduled on I-64 in Jefferson and Shelby Counties beginning tomorrow, June 29. Crews will be pothole patching along portions of the interstate and lane closures are possible in many locations between mile marker 22 to mile marker 24 (Jefferson County) and mile marker 24.1 to mile marker 28 (Shelby County).

Work will begin on Tuesday, June 29 and continue through the morning of Saturday, July 3 between the hours of 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Rolling roadblocks across all lanes to be expected. Signs in the area will notify drivers of the work. Motorists should heed signage while moving through the work zone.
