I-265 East Ramp Closure in Jefferson County

Ramp closed for concrete repair project
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (June 2, 2021) –The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a ramp closure taking place in Jefferson County this weekend. The off-ramp from I-265 East/KY 841 (Gene Snyder Freeway) to Billtown Road is scheduled to be closed as part of an ongoing concrete repair project. The closure will take place between 8 p.m. on Friday, June 4, and 5 a.m. on Monday, June 7.
Motorists can take the following detour:
- Continue on I-265 East to Taylorsville Road (Exit 23), from Taylorsville Road take the on-ramp to I-265 West, and then exit at Billtown Road (Exit 19)
The contract for this ongoing project was awarded to Mac Construction & Excavating, Inc. in September 2020 in the amount of $3,487,000.00.
