I-64 West Ramp in Jefferson County Now Open
Ramp part of ongoing improvement project
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (June 1, 2021) –The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of the reopening of an interstate ramp in western Jefferson County. The ramp from I-64 West to I-264 East opened to traffic this morning. This ramp was closed for additional days after KYTC contractors found more depths of concrete that needed to be replaced as part of an ongoing ramp improvement project.
The contract for this project was awarded to Louisville Paving and Construction in May 2020 in the amount of $10,968,000.
