Revised advisory - Project to begin for North Maysville Road/US 460 in Montgomery County
Between Terry Drive (MP 8.74) and Maysville Avenue (MP 8.92)
LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 20, 2021) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a scheduled project for Mt. Sterling in Montgomery County. The City of Mt. Sterling was awarded a Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) grant for $157,757.00.
The grant will assist with improving the infrastructure and a sidewalk network. In addition, bicycle and pedestrian paths will be constructed along North Maysville Street. This is a Local Public Agency (LPA) Project.
Monday, March 24 through Friday, June 25 - 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. weekdays
North Maysville Road/US 460
- an extended closure will be in effect for the southbound lane
- the “walkway” will be closed with “sidewalk closed” signage
- temporary signal phases and flaggers will be utilized to assist motorists through the work zone
All work, and closures are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies, and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
