VFW Parade to Block KY 94/Main Street in Downtown Murray on Saturday Morning, May 1

Closure of parade route starts at 10:30 a.m. for approximately 1 hour

PADUCAH, KY (April 27, 2021)  The Veterans of Foreign Wars plans to hold a Loyalty Day Parade in Downtown Murray on Saturday, May 1, 2021.

The parade will assemble on South 5th Street in Murray.  Starting at approximately 10:30 a.m., CDT, Saturday, the parade will move westward along KY 94/Main Street to North 10th Street where it will turn and follow North 10th Street to the Veterans Memorial in Chestnut Park.

The parade will require KY 94/Main Street to be closed between 5th Street and U.S. 641-Business/12th Street for approximately 1 hour.

Motorists and trucks should seek an alternate route via U.S. 641-Business and other approved state highways.
