Resurfacing scheduled for routes in Scott County
Cherry Blossom Road/US 25 and Corinth Road/US 25
LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 26, 2021) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of resurfacing scheduled for routes in Scott County. Asphalt (base failure) repairs will be performed prior to the paving operations.
Tuesday, April 27 through Wednesday, June 30 – 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. weekdays (Mon. – Fri.)
Note: asphalt (base failure) repairs will begin on the North section of US 25 on Tuesday, April 27 and progress to the South section of US 25 on Wednesday, April 28
Georgetown
Cherry Blossom Road/US 25:
- asphalt repairs and resurfacing will be in effect between milepoints 4.610 and 8.700
- the location begins at the North end of the bridge over Elkhorn Creek extending North to a point 0.127 miles South of KY 620
- this is a distance of 04.09 miles
- one lane will remain open for motorists
Sadieville
Corinth Road/US 25:
- asphalt repairs and resurfacing will be in effect between milepoints 16.837 and 25.372
- the location begins at KY 32 extending North to the Scott-Grant County line
- this is a distance of 08.53 miles
- one lane will remain open for motorists
All work, and closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies, and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott, and Woodford Counties
