Resurfacing scheduled for Ironworks Pike/KY 1973 in Scott County

LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 25, 2021) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of resurfacing scheduled for Ironworks Pike/KY 1973. Asphalt (base failure) repairs will be performed prior to the paving operations.
Tuesday, April 27 through Tuesday, November 30 – 8:00 a.m. until 5 p.m. weekdays (Mon. – Fri.)
Ironworks Pike/KY 1973
- asphalt repairs and resurfacing will be in effect between Yarnallton Pike (milepoint 0.590) and US 62 (milepoint 3.446)
- the location is 0.132 North of Yarnallton Pike extending North to 0.458 miles North of US 62
- this is a distance of 02.90 miles
- one lane will remain open for motorists
All work, and closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies, and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
