LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 13, 2021) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a temporary closure scheduled for Old Richmond Road/KY 2328. The closure is necessary for a routine bridge inspection for the old Clays Ferry Bridge.
Tuesday, April 20 – 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Note: this is Old Richmond Road in Fayette Co. & Lexington Road in Madison Co.
Old Richmond Road/KY 2328 – at the Fayette-Madison County line
- a closure will be in place at milepoint 0/1.6
Alternate Route:
- motorists can utilize north and southbound Interstate 75 (over the Clays Ferry Bridge)
All work is scheduled on a tentative basis and is subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies, and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
