Revised news release: Closures in effect for KY 620 in Scott County

Eastbound KY 620/Cherry Blossom Way (MP 2.8) over Interstate 75

LEXINGTON, KY (March 31, 2021) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of closures for the Eastbound KY 620/Cherry Blossom Way overpass. The bridge location is over Interstate 75 in Scott County. Changes were found in the condition of one interior beam during a routine inspection. A lane and shoulder have been closed as a precautionary measure.

Wednesday, March 31 currently and until further notice

Eastbound KY 620/Cherry Blossom Way over Interstate 75

  • the right/slow lane and shoulder are closed at milepoint 2.8
  • this location is between two Pilot Truck Stops 
  • Interstate 75 at Exit 129

All work, and closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies, and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.

District 7 includes:  Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott, and Woodford Counties
