Lane Closures Scheduled on I-264 East in Jefferson County Next Week

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (March 26, 2021) –The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 5 Office advises motorists of lane closures scheduled on I-264 East in Jefferson County next week. Contractors will be installing new sign trusses that will span the eastbound lanes of the interstate. The following lane closures are scheduled:
- Monday, March 29:
- Right lane closure at mile marker 17.3 (near on-ramp from KY 155) between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
- Tuesday, March 30:
- Alternating right and left lane closures will take place at mile marker 17 (Taylorsville Road/KY 155 N Exit) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Wednesday, March 31/Thursday, April 1:
- Left lane closure and rolling roadblock for all other lanes at mile marker 17 (Taylorsville Road/KY 155 N Exit) from 9 p.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday, April 1.
- Friday, April 2:
- Right lane closure at mile marker 17.3 (near on-ramp from KY 155) between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Signs will notify motorists of the closures. Drivers should expect delays in the area.
