Crashes On I-65 In Hart and Hardin Counties
Delays Are Possible Northbound and Southbound
ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. (Feb. 11, 2021) – Southbound I-65 is blocked in Hart County just south of Bonnieville near MM 67 due to a multivehicle crash. Clearing of the crash and queue is expected to be complete within the hour and then KYTC crews will treat the area with salt where traffic queue vehicles have been sitting during the blockage. All lanes will reopen following treatment.
Northbound I-65 is blocked at the Exit 91 Interchange with Western Kentucky Parkway in Hardin County due to a fatal crash. Investigation and clearing is expected to continue for the next 1-2 hours. Traffic is being rerouted via the Exit 91 off and on ramps to bypass the scene.
Motorists should reduce speed upon approach to these locations and be prepared for slow moving and/or stopped traffic ahead. Message boards are activated to give motorists advance notice of these incidents.
