Rolling lane restrictions on KY 762 and KY 85 in Ohio County starting Monday

Necessary for contractor to perform resurfacing

MADISONVILLE, Ky. (May 3, 2019)  The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of rolling lane restrictions on KY 762 and KY 85 in Ohio County starting Monday, May 6 through Friday, May 10 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

A contractor for KYTC will be resurfacing KY 762 and more than four miles of KY 85 from the intersection with U.S. 69 (milepoint 7.2) to the intersection with U.S. 62 (milepoint 11.3).

The contractor will use flag crews to control traffic as the crews progress along KY 762 and KY 85.

Motorists should expect delays and avoid the routes if possible. When approaching and traveling through the work zones drivers should slow down and use extra caution.

All work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways. Visit goky.ky.gov for the latest in traffic and travel information in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
