KY 7 & I-64 pavement work in Grayson: Carol Malone north one lane

Description: Work is under way to replace asphalt with new concrete pavement on several legs of the KY 7 and I-64 intersection at Grayson:

- Northbound KY 7 (Carol Malone Boulevard) approaching I-64 from downtown Grayson.

- Eastbound I-64 on and off ramps at KY 7 (Carol Malone Boulevard)

- On all lanes of KY 7 between the I-64 overpass and the interstate on and off ramps.

As of March 17, concrete pavement work has started. Watch for one-lane traffic on northbound KY 7/1 (Carol Malone) away from town between Interstate Drive and the I-64 overpass.

Current traffic changes include restricting all northbound (from Grayson toward I-64) vehicles to one lane on KY 7 (Carol Malone Boulevard). Through at least the rest of the week, all KY 7 traffic shifts into the right lane near Interstate Drive and Love’s truck stop. And, the eastbound I-64 on and off ramps (Exit 172) are one lane.

The I-64 eastbound on and off ramps are also restricted to one lane. Expect delays.
