 The Kentucky Arts Council invites Kentucky writers to help us celebrate Kentucky Writers’ Day, April 24, by sharing short videos of readings from their work. Submitted videos will be posted on the Kentucky Arts Council Facebook page each day in April.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Writers living in Kentucky; or writers who are native Kentuckians or with a strong Kentucky connection, but no longer living in the Commonwealth.
HOW CAN YOU PARTICIPATE?
Record yourself with the video camera on your smart phone or other device as you read from something you’ve written and to which you retain the rights. It can be a poem or an excerpt of fiction, creative nonfiction or a play. Readings are limited to no more than two minutes in length.
DEADLINE: March 14, 4 p.m. ET
