KRS recently announced adjustments to the current service purchase and payment option factors, effective September 1, 2019. The calculators available on Member Self Service should be updated with the new factors by August 1st.  We will make an announcement as soon as the factors are updated.  Members are encouraged to visit Member Self Service after the new factors are released to determine any impact the factor changes may have on retirement estimates or service purchase costs. Members should visit the KRS website and follow KRS on social media for notifications of when the new factors are officially released.

Members with a valid email address on file with KRS received notification of this extension. To receive future notifications, members can provide an email address when registering for Member Self Service or login and update their contact information to include a valid email address.
