There is still time to register for the Brightside/ Passport Health Plan Spring Community-Wide Cleanup taking place this Saturday, April 18th from 8:00am until Noon.
Volunteers
choose their own cleanup sites and coordinate with Brightside to receive gloves,
bags and a limited number of tools at no cost. Trash pick-up will be
coordinated with Louisville Metro Solid Waste Management Services to collect the gathered litter. The
cleanup is sponsored by Passport Health Plan.
Cleanups
are an integral part of Brightside's mission and without the help of volunteer
groups, and many other volunteers throughout the year, Brightside could not
achieve their goals of a cleaner, greener Louisville. The next
community-wide cleanup is scheduled for spring, but neighborhoods can hold
their own cleanups at any point throughout the year.
Registration
is available online here or download the registration form from
our website at www.brightsideinc.org/clean.
Don't forget to send in your stories about your cleanups and tag them with #cleanlou for a chance to win some great prizes like a Suite for a Louisville Bats game, tickets to the Frazier Arms Museum, and much more!
