Notice of Action on a PSD Construction Permit

 

            The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District (District) proposes to issue a PSD construction permit to Ford Motor Company-Kentucky Truck Plant, 3001 Chamberlain Ln., in accordance with Regulations 2.03 and 2.05. The construction comprises a new painting facility for automobiles and light trucks, including necessary abatement equipment. The 30-day public comment period starts January 18, 2014, and ends on February 18, 2014. A public hearing may be scheduled if the District determines that there are germane, unresolved issues or substantial public interest, in accordance with Regulation 2.07.

 

            Written comments will be accepted at the District’s office until 5:00 p.m. on February 18, 2014. Written comments will also be accepted electronically until the same deadline at the

e-mail address “airpermits@louisvilleky.gov”.

 

            Drafts of the permit and summary are available at the District office, 850 Barret Ave., Louisville between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, by calling Paul Aud at (502) 574-6000, or emailing airpermits@louisvilleky.gov or going to www.louisvilleky.gov/APCD/Docket.htm.   Copies of the application are available upon request.
