Brightside's Spring Community-Wide Cleanup Brings Record Number of Volunteers!
Because of Brightside's dedicated and loyal volunteers, we hosted our largest cleanup ever with nearly 11,000 volunteers! This is a record breaking number crushing our previous of 9,000 volunteers! Community pride plays role at Dixie Highway business expo
This is a crucial time in the reinvention of southwest Louisville’s Dixie Highway Corridor, the 11-mile stretch that is trying to transform from hodge-podge to a cohesive and customer-friendly business environment.
“The corridor is very important for south Louisville, obviously we’re invested in the concrete, but you have to have the people, the businesses, to reinforce that,” said Louisville Metro council member David Yates, whose 25th District includes southwest.

Introduce Wills for Warriors
The Wills for Warriors project assists low-income veterans who are in need of Wills, Health Care Surrogates, Powers of Attorney, and Living Wills. Participating veterans will be paired with a volunteer attorney who will help them prepare these documents at no cost.
