Infant botulism outbreak prompts urgent recall of Nara Organics Formula
The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) is investigating a multistate outbreak of infant botulism linked to Nara Organics Whole Milk Organic powdered infant formula. Nara Organics has voluntarily issued a recall of the product.
The CDC and U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recommend that parents and caregivers immediately stop using all Nara Organics Whole Milk Organic Infant Formula.
What retailers should know:
Do not sell, use, or distribute any of the recalled Nara Organics brand infant formula. Remove it from inventory and inform relevant employees.
