The District 3 Office extends holiday greetings and wishes a happy Memorial Day weekend to all.
We are so excited for the start of the summer season and all the fun it brings. Graduations are in full swing and we are so proud of all the graduates, and those being promoted to the next level!
This weekend, there are exciting events upcoming, and we hope to see you there! For our next regularly scheduled newsletter, we will be sharing all the summer camps and youth activities we can find, and we'll have our podcast with representatives from JCPS and community centers.
We in District 3 love our "Seasoned Seniors", too! Please share your events and activities for all age groups with us. We are always happy to get the word out to the community!
Please have a safe and fun weekend!
Councilwoman Parrish-Wright is thrilled that the Algonquin Pool will be open this summer! Although Algonquin Park is now in District 1, it used to be part of District 3, and it is the nearest public pool for residents of District 3. Please be sure to join the Councilwoman for the grand reopening, and visit the pool throughout the summer!
Reopening: Saturday, May 24th from 12pm-5pm at 1614 Cypress Street
Councilwoman Parrish-Wright is proud to be attending the fourth annual Black Owned Business & Excellence awards this Saturday, May 24th, at the Kentucky Center for African American Heritage. Councilwoman Parrish-Wright always supports Black and locally owned businesses, and is excited to see them being honored at this incredible awards ceremony.
