Free storm debris drop-off sites are open

Our office received this notice in email late yesterday afternoon and found it this morning.  The free service remains available today and Friday:

Louisville Metro residents impacted by recent storms can drop off tree debris --  for free -- at the following locations from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday through Friday of this week. 

  • Across from the Solid Waste Office, 535 Meriwether Ave. 
  • Hubbards Lane Recycling, 595 N. Hubbards Ln. 
  • Public Works Yard, 10500 Lower River Road. (Enter from Bethany Lane.) 

Please note:

  • Only tree debris will be accepted.
  • Drop-off is for residents only and not for commercial businesses.
  • Residents should be prepared to provide their name and address upon arrival.
