“These changes to the External Agency Fund grant programs reflect Louisville Metro’s commitment to addressing local priorities while strengthening our nonprofit community. By raising award minimums, streamlining processes, and providing targeted support, we’re ensuring that nonprofits can focus on what they do best: making a meaningful impact in the lives of our residents.”

This year, External Agency Fund Grants for Arts + Creative Industries continue to support the important work of Louisville/Jefferson County’s arts and culture nonprofit organizations that are essential to sustaining healthy, innovative, and thriving communities. This program provides critical Operational Support funding to help these important centers of our Creative Economy afford the facilities and staff time necessary to maintain their programs, apply for additional external grants, and contribute to the stability, adaptability, and resiliency of Louisville’s creative sector. The External Agency Funds grants are a keystone of the Office of Arts + Creative Industries mission to facilitate and encourage participation in arts and culture experiences for all residents of Louisville.
