Meet with Councilwoman Purvis this Saturday

The event will be held on Saturday, October 26, from 9:00 – Noon

 

Louisville (October 23, 2024) – Councilwoman Donna Purvis (D-5) will host monthly mobile office hours this Saturday. This is an excellent opportunity for residents to address any concerns or offer suggestions about the district while going about their typical weekend routines.  

 

On Saturday, October 26, 2024, Councilwoman Purvis will be available at the Portland Kroger, located at 520 N. 35th Street, from 9:00 a.m. – Noon. 

 

Councilwoman Purvis will be stationed at the front of Kroger, appointments are not required, so feel free to please stop by.

 

“I’ve really enjoyed meeting with community members each month to learn about district priorities. This Saturday is another great opportunity, and I hope you’ll stop by,” said Councilwoman Purvis.

BRIGHTSIDE FALL COMMUNITY CLEANUP OCTOBER 19TH

Sign up for the Brightside Fall Community Cleanup – October 19, 2024

As the seasons change and we transition into fall, it’s the perfect time to give back to our community! Join Brightside for the Fall Community-Wide Cleanup on Saturday, October 19, 2024, and help make a difference in your neighborhood.

 

With just a few hours of your time, you can make a big difference in maintaining the cleanliness and beauty of our public spaces. Whether you’re part of a neighborhood group or an individual looking to get involved, we encourage you to sign up to host a cleanup or join the District ____ cleanup.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for scout troops, sports teams, faith groups, and community organizations to come together and make a positive impact.

 

Signing up is simple, visit https://louisvilleky.gov/government/brightside/brightside-wm-community-wide-cleanup to register. All registered volunteers will receive cleanup supplies, including gloves and bags. Brightside will also coordinate with Solid Waste Management Services to collect filled trash bags.

 

Let’s work together to keep our community clean and beautiful this fall!
