Debris Collection Updates - PW&A

DEBRIS COLLECTION UPDATE: Louisville Metro Public Works will be providing free pickup of tree debris from the tornado affected area only (boundaries outlined in red on the map).

Tree debris will be collected on Monday, July 15th. This date gives residents ample time to collect and transport debris to the curb or alley. Collection is expected to be complete that day but may be extended depending on debris volume.

Guidance for setout of debris:

🌳Tree debris must be placed at the curb or alley, in the same location as garbage collection.

🌳Place tree debris as close to the roadway as possible within the public right-of-way, not on pavement or in the public roadway, not in or obstructing drainage ways, fire hydrant or utility asset access.

🌳Tree debris must be set out by 6 a.m. on Monday, July 15th.

🌳Tree debris meeting yard waste guidelines may be set out for regular yard waste collection. Louisvilleky.gov/YardWaste
