Louisville Metro's Office of Arts + Creative Industries and the Office of Planning have partnered with Bloomberg Philanthropies to produce a series of asphalt art installations within the Parkland Neighborhood. The goal of this initiative is to improve the safety of walkers and bicyclists with full color asphalt art treatments spanning 6 blocks of 28th St. between Dumesnil St. and Garland Ave. The project will feature Louisville’s first street mural that will anchor the painted corridor back to Parkland’s business district and community hub.
If you are interested in contributing designs and/or installation, you can find additional information on applications and compensation in our Request For Qualifications.
