Healthy Kids Day

The Southwest Family YMCA is hosting a free Healthy Kids Day on April 19, 5:00 - 7:00pm. There will be inflatables, vendors, Zumba and a foam run.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) and Metro Public Works will share information about proposed changes to increase safety on the Taylor Boulevard / New Cut Road corridor. Please attend this Open House on Wednesday, April 24, at Lynnhurst United Church of Christ (4401 Taylor Blvd) and provide your input.

Water Main Work on Gagel Avenue

Louisville Water needs to make repairs to water main valves at the intersection of Gagel Avenue and London Drive. This work will require a hard closure on London and the westbound lane of Gagel. The use of flaggers will be utilized to move traffic around the work zone on Gagel. Work will primarily be performed 8:00am – 5:00pm and the westbound lane of Gagel will be opened in the evening when work for the day is complete. This project is expected to start either the week of April 15 or April 22 and will last approximately 3-5 days.
