Come enjoy a full week of Gaslight Festival fun in Gaslight Square! Visit restaurants in downtown JTown Square every day during the festival! The fun continues this week with Business Appreciation Day on Wednesday, September 13th the City of Jeffersontown will provide lunch and live entertainment to all the local businesses and employees of Jeffersontown! On Thursday, get ready to kick off a fun-filled weekend with the Gaslight Festival Parade! The parade begins at 6 p.m. and starts at Jeffersontown Commons Shopping Center and goes East on Taylorsville Road, then South on Watterson Trail to College Drive.
Friday through Sunday enjoy Gaslight Festival Weekend with more than 135 arts & crafts vendors from across the country showcasing their talents, and over 130 area business, civic & nonprofit organizations spreading awareness at this 3-day event! During the weekend celebrations enjoy the Balloon Glow on Friday, September 15th, and the Gaslight Festival Car Show on Sunday, September 17th!

The inaugural Downtown Silent Disco will be held at the Big Four Lawn this Saturday evening offering visitors and residents the opportunity to dance the night away underneath the glow of Louisville’s skyline. The Big Four Lawn will open at 7 p.m. with food and drink options available with the silent disco beginning at 7:30 p.m.
The event will feature a choice of three stations, including Top 40, Decades, and a kid’s channel, allowing individuals to tune in to their favorite station and enjoy.
The Downtown CineBus will add multicolored lighting and visual effects at the base of the Big Four Bridge. The event will also feature food and drink by local vendors including Amiracle Ade Lemonade Company and Ten20 Brewery. The silent disco will be produced by Louisville Silent Disco
Attendees will be able to rent headphones throughout the duration of the event, free of charge, by exchanging a photo ID. Families will have the opportunity to exchange one form of ID for multiple headphones.
The Downtown Silent Disco is all-ages and free to the public with accessible parking available at the Silver and Red parking lots at Waterfront Park.

Salsa on the Belle returns for the Fall 2023 Edition! Celebrating 7 years of this iconic event, Salsa on the Belle continues to be Louisville's largest and most unique dance event.
A three-hour dance cruise on the Ohio River on the historic Belle of Louisville featuring Salsa, Bachata and more on two levels of the boat!
This all-ages event includes the return of Yamil Conga and his Nashville Latin AllStars, and a full bar on the boat, as well as a light snack concession stand.
Boarding will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the river cruise lasting from 6 to 9 p.m. Head over to the afterparty at Coconuts Beach from 9 p.m. to 1 p.m., afterparty ticket included with Salsa on the Belle ticket purchase.

Nature Connects is an award-winning exhibition showcasing sculptures and exhibits created by artist Sean Kenney, and it is currently being displayed at the Louisville Zoo. His sculptures, made with simple LEGO toys, explore the interconnectedness of our natural world. Sean’s enormous and precise structures offer a playful twist on traditional sculptural art, making it accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds.
The Louisville Zoo provides a unique and stunning backdrop for Sean’s artwork, creating an unforgettable experience for visitors. The exhibition, which features 16 sculptures made from more than 500,000 LEGO bricks, will leave you in awe and inspire a deeper connection to the natural world. Nature Connects encourages visitors to appreciate and understand the complex connections between humans and nature, while also enjoying the playful and imaginative world of LEGO bricks.

Each Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. experience Food Truck Wednesdays at 4th Street between Jefferson and Market Streets! Louisville Downtown Partnership has curated many amazing food trucks to serve lunchtime patrons each Wednesday!
The street will be closed off to vehicular traffic from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each week. Food trucks will serve food from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Every Thursday through October
The Food Truck Clinic is a one-stop-shop where food and beverage vendors can get the green light from the Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness, Louisville Division of Fire and Jefferson County Fire Service, and Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) to legally sell food and drinks to the public.
Every Thursday between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., from now until Oct. 19, food trucks and other mobile vendors can stop by the alley at Armory Place, behind the Metro Development Center to get their permits to operate.
The Food Truck Clinic not only benefits vendors, but community members, too. Each Thursday, the public is invited to the clinic to enjoy food and beverages after food trucks get the go ahead to open.
