Blue Ridge Manor is holding their Summer Picnic. This was rescheduled from the previous week due to rain!


Juneteenth changes to Metro schedules

The Metro Council Offices will be closed Monday, June 19th in Celebration of 'Juneteenth". Normal Office hours will resume the following day, Tuesday, June 20th.

ALSO:

There will be no trash, yard waste or recycle collected Monday for the Urban Services portion of District 18 in observance of Juneteenth. Regular picks will start again on Tuesday, June 20th and be delayed one day the entire week.

The latest Metro Clean Collaborative Crew Totals

Attached is the weekly Clean Collaborative route update. The Clean Collaborative Crew removed 394 bags of litter, 33 tires, and 143 other items from 118.04 curb miles.

Also, Clean Collaborative was fortunate to participate in the Kentucky Science Center’s annual Touch A Truck event this past Saturday. It was a great event where the children where able to learn about different occupations and the equipment used in those jobs.

Since January 2023, the Clean Collaborative Crew has completed 261 service requests and removed 6,978.5 bags of litter, 485 tires, and 2,701.5 other items from 1,963.01 curb miles. In addition, Louisville Downtown Partnership’s Clean Collaborative Crew has collected 5,756 pounds from their downtown expanded area since January 2023
