Boil Water Advisory Has Ended as of Wednesday, March 1 at 5:30PM

Approximately 2,000 Louisville Water customers in eastern Jefferson County were under a precautionary Boil Water Advisory. The affected area was a small portion east of Floyds Fork. This was a precaution after a sudden loss in water pressure due to a damaged water main along Clark Station Road. You can view a map of the impacted area at LouisvilleWater.com/BWA.

Again, the advisory was a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of the water supply until water quality tests confirm the water is safe to drink. The Boil Advisory has been lifted.

Affected customers should:

  • Do not use ice from automatic ice machines. Once the advisory is lifted, dispose of two cycles of ice before use.
