It is a great honor to be appointed to the District 6 Councilman seat. In my first week of office, I've already met so many wonderful groups, organizations and people in D6. I want to continue to meet constituents and learn more about our community needs, so please reach out to the District 6 office if you would like to set up a meeting.
A little more about me...
I was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. I graduated from Central High school, where I excelled in academics and sports, and went on to get my degree in communications at Tennessee State University. I have a diverse and extensive community/political background; serving as a political liaison for city and state government, assisted in drafting and implementing legislation alongside several elected officials, and worked closely with several local community organizations. I also currently serve on several community boards in Louisville Metro, including the Kentucky Derby Festival Board.
During the day, I work as a Family Resource Coordinator within Jefferson County Public Schools - removing barriers for Jefferson County families and connecting them to community resources. In addition to working in JCPS, I am a multiple line agent with State Farm Insurance.
I am a proud resident of the Historic Old Louisville Neighborhood. When I'm not working I enjoy spending time with my wife of 14 years and our three sons. I also coach a local football team and am very active in my church.
I look forward to serving our District 6 community, and invite you, again, to reach out with anything we can work together on to better our community.
