 The Santa Christmas Caravan is returning and possibly coming to a neighborhood near you!
The caravan will take place on December 10th and 11th and travel through dozens of areas AroundLou! Stay tuned for a Special Edition AroundLou coming this week which will share more details and highlight many of the areas that Santa will be visiting.

Visit Lights on Main, a display of Christmas trees in Downtown Louisville, located in the RePurposed lot.
An anticipated 100 trees are decorated for the holiday season, intended to promote community and attract patrons to the downtown business district. Each tree is sponsored and decorated by a local corporation, group, family or individual.
Letters to the North Pole, pictures with Santa, pictures with the Grinch and kids' crafts will be offered every Friday and Saturday.
Lights on Main hours are:
Monday and Tuesday: Closed
Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday: 4 - 8 p.m.
Friday: 4 - 9 p.m.
Saturday: 2 - 9 p.m.

The annual festival features fun and activities for all ages held at two sites in the Park DuValle neighborhood.
The DuValle Education Center and Ujima Neighborhood Place at 3610 Bohne Ave. will serve as the Mistletoe Mall with events from 2 to 3 p.m. including holiday Bingo, cookie decorating and refreshments. SantaCon is back! Get ready to see hundreds of Santas making their way through the city during this charitable, non-commercial, non-political, nonsensical Santa Claus convention that happens once a year for absolutely no reason whatsoever!
Sometimes known as Naughty Santas, Cheapsuit Santas, Santarchy, Santapalooza, and Santa Rampage, SantaCon incorporates elements of a flash mob in the context of cheerful bawdy and harmless behavior, the singing of naughty Christmas carols, and the giving of small gifts to strangers.
SantaCon is where Santa says to go! Santa announces the starting point on SantaCon Eve. And this year he has some VERY NICE (and NAUGHTY!) surprises planned every step of the way.
This year's tour has made Vernon Lanes the final stop, aka The North Pole. Join Vernon Lanes for a night of holiday cheer and a special stage appearance by Mrs. Claus & The Stocking Stuffers. Afterwards, Dancer and Prancer's favorite North Pole DJs: Secret Beats, Cid, and LB3 are scheduled to light up the floor and jingle your bells into the night.

Louisville Mega Cavern’s Lights Under Louisville returns with more than 40 themed displays, mapping projections, approximately 900 illuminated characters, 4 LED light tunnels, including a new 200-foot-long MEGA light tunnel, two laser sections, and nearly 6,000,000 points of light that will spread mega cheer and holiday spirit this season. Lights Under Louisville will take visitors on an immersive ride through more than one mile of cavern passageways as visitors drive through millions of dazzling lights, festive lasers, and even larger captivating light tunnels.
