Metro Parks Hosting Public Meeting on
Charlie Vettiner Park Master Plan
Meeting to take place on Tuesday, April 17
LOUISVILLE (March 19, 2012) – Metro Parks will host a public meeting on Tuesday, April 17, to discuss future plans for Charlie Vettiner Park. The meeting will take place from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Farmer Elementary School gym, 6405 Gelhaus Lane, just north of the Gene Snyder/Billtown Road interchange.
The meeting is the 6th in a series to develop a master plan for the site. There will be a general overview of the project. A revised draft plan will be presented which incorporates input from previous public meetings.
In addition, Metro Parks is seeking photos, old newspaper clippings or any other additional historical items residents may have relating to Vettiner Park. Residents are encouraged to bring these items to the April 17 meeting.

About the park:
Charlie Vettiner Park is a 283-acre park located on Mary Dell Lane off Billtown Road in southern Louisville Metro and includes The park includes a playground and picnic facilities, a fishing lake, dog run, disc golf and an 18 hole golf course, which is not included in the planning study.
