Dear Neighbor,

On Saturday, November 12, we will host our first Town Hall meeting in the new 26th District. You and all residents of our district are welcome - and encouraged - to attend. Here are the details:

26th District Town Hall Meeting

Saturday, November 12, at 9:30 am

Buechel Park Baptist Church
2403 Hikes Lane

We will have leaders from many Louisville Metro Government Agencies, including:

  • Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD)
  • LMPD 6th Division, Maj. Arnold Rivera
  • Public Works, Asst. Director Jeff Brown (roads)
  • Solid Waste Management
  • Develop Louisville/Planning and Design Services, Director Emily Liu
  • Metropolitan Sewer District (MSD)
  • Metro Parks (invited)

We will open the meeting with remarks and discussions of two important topics for our neighborhoods and families.

After the opening discussions, we will break into one-on-one meetings between you and whomever you wish to discuss any concerns with.

We will wrap up the meetings and conversations by 11:30am.

All residents of our district should have received a mailed postcard announcing the meeting. If you believe you are in the 26th District, but did not get a postcard, please visit https://louisvilleky.gov/government/metro-council/district-maps to confirm your council district. We look forward to seeing you on 11/12 @ 9:30am.

Coffee and donuts will be provided by our office.
