Boo at the Louisville Zoo

A tradition for over 40 years continues, presented by Meijer, transforms your Zoo into a living storybook, complete with some of your favorite characters brought to life, fun music, and a safe place for trick-or-treating for kids 11 and under. Jack O'Lantern Spectacular at Iroquois Park

More than 5,000 artistically carved pumpkins illuminate the night as an “organic art show” at Iroquois Park during the month of October!   Gaze upon the fantastic pumpkins with designs of famous individuals such as Louisville's own Jack Harlow, Halle Bailey and the Queen as well as scenes from iconic movies!  Hours are Sunday through Thursday 6:30 to 10 p.m. and Friday & Saturday 6:30 to 11 p.m.  Follow this link to learn more about the Jack O'Lantern Spectacular at Iroquois Park:

BBB Shredding and Electronic Recycling Event - Tomorrow Morning

October 1, 2022
7:00 a.m. - 12:00 Noon
Middletown Kroger, 12501 Shelbyville Road, Louisville, KY 40243
 
Join BBB, RML Shredding, River Metals Recycling, WHAS11, and Kroger to shred your documents (up to four boxes) and recycle your electronics!
 
What should you shred? Any documents that include:
- bank account numbers
- social security numbers
- birth dates
- PINs
- Other personal information
 
Standard size paper clips and staples attached to documents are acceptable. NO CARDBOARD, PLEASE.
 
Electronic items that can be recycled:
- cell phones and cell phone batteries
- circuit boards
- copper yokes
- CPU chips
- DVD/CD drives
- Hard drives
- Laptops and laptop batteries
- Memory devices
- Networking equipment
- Power supply cables
 
Donations are appreciated! Proceeds go to BBB Consumer Education Fund's support of scam prevention programs, BB Charity Review program, student scholarships, and more!
