Louisville Metro Animal Services Best Friends Weekend
All pet adoptions at LMAS’ Animal House Adoption Center will be free Sept. 16-18. The national adoption event is being sponsored by Best Friends Weekend as shelters across the county struggle with record overcrowding. Adoption fees are waived for all kitten, cat, dog, puppy adoptions, and a free gift is included. All adoptable pets are already spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Jefferson County residents will be required to purchase a one-year renewable pet license. You don’t need an appointment, meet adoptable pets from 12-6pm daily at Animal House Adoption Center, located at 3516 Newburg Road.
