What started as a small street party in 1969, has grown to become the 5th largest festival in the region, and has taken its place as one of the top 20 festivals in the Southeast!
Centered in the small-town ambiance of Gaslight Square, the festival has evolved into an eight-day extravaganza that has become a time-honored tradition of Jeffersontown.
Activities continue this weekend with the Gaslight Balloon Glow, Festival, Farmers Market and Car Show! With so many activities planned, it is sure to be a fun-filled, family-friendly weekend!

After two years, too long Bourbon and Beyond is back!
Join in celebrating with the world’s finest bourbon, culinary and music festival experiences featuring Pearl Jam, Chris Stapleton, Kings of Leon, Jack White, Brandi Carlile, Alanis Morissette, Greta Van Fleet, The Doobie Brothers 50th Anniversary and many more of your favorite artists on three stages!
Check out hands-on bourbon workshops & tastings, culinary programming with celebrity chefs, and the return of favorites like The Kroger Big Bourbon Bar, The Silver Dollar Hunter’s Club, Jim Beam Tiki Barrel Bar and so much more!

The biggest night of Latin Music in Kentucky! With more than 60 artists nominated for the awards, come out to enjoy live performances, awards, a red carpet, dancing and more.
General Admission into the Awards Show is free, VIP tickets are paid and can be purchased here.

Join Russell: A Place of Promise for a groovy night of Soul Train-inspired dancing, dinner and more at the Russell Got Soul Soiree, a 1970s themed event at Louisville Central Community Center.
Ticket prices include dinner provided by Platinum Plates and two drink tickets for 1970s themed cocktails, beer or wine.
Celebrate the winners of the very first Promise of People and Promise of Place Awards, relax and unwind to music by DJ Always, browse a pop-up record store curated by Brent Barnett, find some funky fashion at a 1970's-themed thrift shop sponsored by Goodwill and dance the night away at a silent disco featuring DJ Bombshell, DJ DNasti and DJ John Q.
CDC Guidelines will be followed for this event - please bring and wear a mask when you are unable to maintain social distance! Masks provided as needed.

After Hours is back at the Speed, mark your calendars! Every third Friday of the month, the Museum will be open until 10 p.m. Each After Hours event comes alive with an eclectic mix of music, performances, a cash bar & food available by Wiltshire at the Speed and of course art! Come experience the Speed after hours as you’ve never experienced it before.

6:30 p.m.: Gallery Talk in the Satterwhite Gallery with Louisville artist, Gaela Erwin. She will speak about the creation of her drawing, Licia and Neema, which is currently hanging in this gallery and is a part of The Speed Collects: Empires to Revolutions, 1700 – 1825.
7 – 7:45 p.m.: The Promise panel talk with moderator: Toya Northington, and panelists, Roberto Visani & Dr. Gaberiel Jones Jr..
8 – 10 p.m.: Musical performance by Sheryl Rouse.

Join the Kentucky Science Center this weekend to celebrate the return of our World’s Fair dinosaur and all things prehistoric!
Break it down with costumed dinosaur characters at the Dino Dance Party, meet modern reptiles courtesy of the Herpetological Society, try your hand at paleontology-themed maker activities in the MakerPlace or get up close and personal with Dinosaurs of Antarctica on their 4-story screen!
Be there at noon for the official reveal of the winning name for the triceratops. Most activities are included free of charge with general admission passes. Get your tickets ahead of time here.

Recovery is for everyone! Come together to celebrate recovery month at the U of L Student Activities Center. The Rally for Recovery is an annual event organized by people in long term recovery from a substance use disorder, their families, and friends.
Liz Everman returns as the emcee for this event.
To honor the lives of those lost in 2021, a butterfly release ceremony will take place at the end of the rally.
To host a table at the Rally for Recovery pay a registration fee of $50.00 per table here. You supply your own table and chairs and a small pop-up tent if you wish.
