Dear Neighbor,
This weekend prepare for CycLOUvia on Frankfort Avenue from 2-6 pm on Sunday, August 28th. Frankfort Avenue will close to vehicle traffic in the Clifton and Crescent Hill neighborhoods. Please plan to cross at Ewing if you need to traverse the street closure.
I hope you will take this opportunity to join in some free bicycle fun this weekend.
Have a good weekend,
Brent T. Ackerson 26th District Councilman
CycLOUvia returns to Frankfort Avenue for the second event of 2022! Louisville's popular open streets event will take place on Sunday, August 28th, 2022, from 2:00-6:00pm. Frankfort Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic between Pope Street and Stilz Avenue, with a facilitated crossing at Ewing Avenue.
CycLOUvia is your opportunity to experience Louisville as you never have before, by walking, cycling, skateboarding, or dancing in the street. Streets account for a massive amount of public land in all cities. CycLOUvia repurposes these public spaces by temporarily replacing traditional vehicular traffic with pedestrian traffic. Streets become paved parks where people of all ages, abilities, and socio-economic backgrounds can come to improve their mental, physical, and emotional health.

Dear Neighbor: We are writing to invite you to a meeting we have scheduled to present neighbors with our zone change and Detailed District Development Plan (DDDP) to allow an automobile repair facility as an out-lot to be located as above.
Accordingly, we filed a plan for pre-application review with the Division of Planning and Design Services (DPDS) that was assigned case number, 22-ZONEPA-0029 and case manager, Jay Luckett. The proposed repair facility will include a 1,070 sq ft office/waiting room with an attached 9-bay garage area of 4,572 sf.
