Mill Creek Greenway Master Plan: Louisville Parks and Recreation’s Natural Areas division invites community members from Southwest Louisville to participate in the creation of a conceptual master plan for the Mill Creek Greenway. This exciting project will transform about eight miles of Mill Creek and adjacent publicly owned land between Sylvania Park in PRP and the power plant south of Valley Station. Thanks to a grant from The Nature Conservancy, landscape architects/planners will work with residents and other stakeholders on a plan to bring this waterway to life. The result will be a roadmap for a new public greenway for outdoor recreation. Given its scope, the project has the potential to be one of the nation’s largest urban stream mitigation efforts. If you live in Southwest Louisville and would like to get involved, please fill out the interest form here.
