CatVideoFest at the Speed Art Museum takes a commonplace activity - watching cat videos - and makes it a communal experience! For three days the Social Purpose Corporation is bringing a selection of the best feline videos along with some classic and unique submissions to share with the masses, all while raising money for cats in need.
The program is produced by filmmaker Will Braden, creator of the YouTube sensation Henri, le Chat Noir. This event is recommended for all ages. 10% of the ticket sales will be donated to Alley Cats and the Kentucky Humane Society.

The 2022 Bluegrass VegFest is a Louisville-based vegan food festival showcasing regional businesses and products, with over 50 exhibitors. Not just a cornucopia of delicious plant-based food, it also features craft beer and summer cocktails, nationally renowned speakers, arts and crafts, kids' activities and much more.
Enjoy a Saturday exploring the Mellwood Art Center and check out regional restaurants, fabulous food trucks, beer and summer cocktails and expert chefs demonstrating how to prepare your own delish vegan dishes.
Parking and admission are free, with a suggested $5.00 donation. Proceeds collected will be donated to local animal charities.

Send It Slam is an outdoor festival, complete with a 3D archery competition, full lineup of Kentucky musicians, local food trucks and breweries, youth entertainment and more. Rising songwriter Cole Chaney with Wolfpen Branch headlines the concert, which includes performances from Justin Wells, Abby Hamilton, Dave Shoemaker, and Dalton Mills.
Send It Slam kicks off at sunrise with an optional 3D archery competition, held at The Sporting Club at the Farm. Archers will compete for fun and prizes. The outdoor nonprofit Raise ‘Em Outdoors will teach free archery lessons for youth, and the Lincoln Heritage Council, Boy Scouts of America will teach marksmanship with a BB gun range. Music will start in the afternoon at Brown-Forman Amphitheater on Waterfront Park in Louisville, Ky. Attendees can get separate tickets for the concert if they are not interested in the archery competition.
The waterfront party will host a lineup of Kentucky food trucks and breweries, as well as outdoor brands.

This coming Sunday, Louisville Golf FORE Girls Program is hosting its second annual Women in Golf Day at Shawnee Golf Course. Women in Golf Day began as an event in 2021 and celebrates the achievements women have made in the golf industry.
The free event features a panel of accomplished women golf professionals excited to share their experience in the golf industry. The main event will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. Registration begins at 3 p.m. as well as fun games and activities for youth ages 6-17! There will be dinner options served after at 6 p.m.

Beyond Van Gogh is a new, truly immersive experience. While other shows use virtual reality or still images, Beyond Van Gogh breaks barriers by incorporating both still and moving art. Masterpieces, now freed from frames, come alive, appear and disappear, and flow across multi-surfaces.
Enjoy over 300 pieces of art over a 30,000 square foot area, including the iconic classics "The Starry Night", "Sunflowers", and "Café Terrace at Night". The show is accompanied with a beautiful score and many other surprises!
