The Johnsons ran Johnson’s Quality Child Care for over 40 years from Bruce Avenue and 3rd Street Road. In honor of their service, I sponsored a Resolution of the Metro Council to recognize their achievement and commissioned honorary street signs along the 5500 block of Bruce Avenue to now and forever be known as Billy & Susan Johnson Way. Thank you Billy & Susan! Decades of children have prospered thanks to your love and guidance.

We cleaned up the intersections of New Cut Road & 3rd Street Road, Dixie Hwy & Valley Station, Southside Drive & Strawberry Lane, and East Pages Lane and 3rd Street Road.
Waking up early on a Saturday to clean up others litter isn’t fun but it is so appreciated as we heard from all the thank you’s and honks from drivers. Help us keep our roads clean throughout the year by not littering, keeping your garbage cans closed and picking up the trash and litter of others around your neighborhood.
Do your part, DO NOT LITTER & encourage others NOT TO LITTER!
